One of the original and most basic of the Amidol variations. Ansco 113 results in a very distinctive print color and works particularly well with chloride or chloro-bromide papers. Deep rich blacks come from developing prints in the stock solution. Dilutions of up to 1:3 can increase highlight separation with little or no sacrifice in shadow detail or d-max. Cool solution to 70 degrees before use. Develop 2-3 minutes.
